Be CREATIVE…don’t be afraid ….You may have a old tee shirt that was discolored or faded, now is the time to give it new life! Make a matching bag to go with it and away you go showing your creativity!
Tee Shirt Cover Up


Things you’ll need are
-
Rubber bands , Twist your shirt up and hold together with rubber bands. If you don’t have rubber bands just tie shirt into various knots.

Rit dye which you can find at your grocery store or Tulip dye usually found at craft stores like JoAnn,Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, etc….. colors of your choice !

Plastic to cover your work surface

Dye bottles with a nozzle for easy application for how many colors you want.

Paper towel
-
Plastic to cover your item after tie dying.

Plastic gloves
-
Paper Towel
Instructions
-
Pre wash your tee shirt if new
-
Put down plastic to protect your table and paper towel to absorb excess dye on your work surface

Put on your gloves
-
Add water to your dye to get your desired intensity.

Place your rubber bands tightly around to separate each section of color you want

Prepare all your colors in various bottles…….
with nozzle have fun drizzling your die over your shirt until all saturated . covering each area with desire color going to each section add your next color don’t over saturate

Cover with plastic and keep it damp until the color intensity you like ususally 6-8 hrs

rinse in sink with hot water unitl it runs clear .

remove your rubber bands. continue to rinse and wash in washer or by hand w little soap dry in dryer or on a sunny clothes line!
There are many designs you can do so have fun with the placement of your rubber bands and your colors!
