It does not have to cost you a lot of money to be creative . These items were simple boxes and cans ready to be discarded.

Glasses purchased at thrift store . Trims from the Dollar Store . Little stones from a local Dollar store . Boxes from store already gold that held gold candy.

lighted battery crown

 This  crown was bought ffrom Dollar Tree , comes also in a Heart and Star

Obtain glitter,peals,stone stickers .

 

glue can be applied then glitter to fully coat the crown front if you like . Rhinestones etc just be creative.

basket bed

Basket also purchased at Dollar Tree .

Trace the bottom of basket on paper to make a pattern.

  Cut two pieces of fabric with the pattern and sew together to make the baby mattress. Leave a little opening to turn it inside outand stuff with a little batting  

Lace trim hot glued around half way.

 Again layered with another trim of lace aroud the top of the basket

silver trim around the middle where trims meet , then add stones , or pearls. 

This is showing the basket turned over. The bottom of the basket is where the crown will be glued on to .  

Princess Bed

 Turn basket over glue your finished decorated crown to the basket .

place your little mattress inside and you are done

If you like as viewed in pictures you can hot glue finished bed for higher height, on top of decorated box,wine glass, or cylinder which you can purchase at Dollar Tree.

Add empty  paper towel  roll decorated with gift wrap,card stock , stones, trim etc.and glue to box in back of bed.

Insert ballons  using balloon sticks and add bow to cover , or only place bow as shown .  Your choice.

TIE DYE IS FUN

Be CREATIVE…don’t be afraid ….You may have a old tee shirt that was discolored or faded, now is the time to give it new life!  Make a matching bag to go with it and away you go showing your creativity!

                                                       Tee Shirt Cover Up 

Things you’ll need are

1.  Rubber bands , Twist your shirt up and hold together with rubber bands.  If you don’t have rubber bands just tie shirt into various knots.

2.  Rit dye which you can find at your grocery store or Tulip dye usually found at craft stores like JoAnn,Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, etc….. colors of your choice !

3.  Plastic to cover your work surface

4.  Dye bottles with a nozzle for easy application for how many colors you want.

5.  Paper towel

6.  Plastic to cover your item after tie dying.

7.  Plastic gloves

8.  Paper Towel

Instructions

1. Pre wash your tee shirt if new

2. Put down plastic to protect your table  and paper towel to absorb excess dye on your work surface

3. Put on your gloves

4. Add water to your dye to get your desired intensity.

5. Place your rubber bands tightly around to separate each section of color you want

6. Prepare all your colors in various bottles…….

   with nozzle have fun drizzling your die over your shirt until all saturated . covering each area with desire color  going to each  section add your next color don’t over saturate

7. Cover with plastic and keep it damp until the color intensity you like ususally  6-8 hrs

8. rinse in sink with hot water unitl it runs clear .

9. remove your rubber bands. continue to rinse and wash in washer or by hand w little soap dry in dryer or on a sunny clothes line!

There are many designs you can do so have fun with the placement of your rubber bands and your colors!

Cut squares into box on four sides , print design on transparent paper found at office suppliers! Decorate with foil paper strips and dimensional paints , stones etc   Just have fun. cut another box bend up and glue to top of box .  Paint first
